Hello! I'm the bunny lady, and I'm here with my partner Elusive (Ellie for short!) to teach all of you to care for a happy and healthy pet rabbit.
I have been a lifelong rabbit owner and more recently I've gained experience working at an animal shelter to socialize the small animals and rabbits that are brought in. I want to make sure all of you have the resources you need to make your rabbit a part of the family. From diet, to habitat, and even training techniques, I'm here to help you and your rabbit live a happy life together.

I have 2 Princess and Queen but what if I call Queen and Princess come? Ah
Bunny lady is it ok to bond a nuder and a non spade rabbit? (we cant afford the surgery)
Cat fountains are great as well!
I have so much to learn. My two girls were doing fine, then one day they started fighting. I barely reintroduced them into the same pen again and at night I heard a yip one time but they stopped when I got up and talked to them and I didn’t see any torn out fur. They seem ok together, is just at night I started to see what looked like chasing. When one would run, the other would dart behind her and they would stop and stare at each other. I can’t tell if they’re playing or getting tense around each other. Should I separate them at night?
I was definitely expecting someone like 40 years older 🤣
Glad you're back from your CIA Operation. A year and a half is awhile, it must have got complicated. Did you kill anyone?
Yes! Yes! And, yes! Putting the ball in their court is. The Key. Thanks for your wonderful advice. My bunny is Ernie, an Orcsa Island bunny.
Yes, we must gain our bunny's trust! 🐇🤗🙏💜☮️ Love your vids 😍 I just love it when mine jumps up on couch 🛋️ or bed 🛏️ and snuggles next to me 😊💕
If you're picking up your rabbit because you want your rabbit to come sit with you in a spot that you normally sit in like your bed or couch, honestly it's probably just best to call them over and also make sure they have something like a stool or box next to that spot that makes it easier for them to jump up there. I used to often pick up my rabbit and put him on my bed myself to get him to sit with me. However, it rarely ever worked, and he would just leave immediately. However, when I decided to try and just call him over instead, it worked, and it still works almost every time. Now, he just gets on my bed all on his own when he wants attention. I also have a hidy hole box next to my bed that made it easier for him to get up, but now he can just jump up from the floor now that he's gotten used to jumping on my bed.
They are curious so if you just sit doing a quiet activity they will eventually come over to investigate once they feel comfy in the environment.
Love this series! Thank you 😊
Absolutely agree, also treats help but not too much!
Thank you. You give such great advice.
You really know everything about rabbits. I've bonded so many times and every bond is different. Currently bonding two males that seemed to gel straight away. Mutual grooming and snuggling within 20 mins in the neutral space. Day 3 of bonding 24/7 and one decided to start humping the other. This wasn't received well. Thankfully he's settled and they are back to snuggling and grooming but it's hard to know when they are fully bonded when things can change so quickly. I always watch and rewatch your videos every time I bond to settle my nerves 😃
Our rabbit has always slept on the floor either laid out on his belly or flopped on his side like a dog and it's really cute. He doesn't go near anything like pillows or blankets when he wants to sleep and we don't need to buy any bedding materials. For his litter I bought a bin from Walmart and some metal cooling trays that fit nicely over the top of the bin. Then I drilled 6 holes around the outside of the bin and zip tie the cooling racks over the top. Fill that with litter material and put their food on it until they learn to pee in the bin. Worked for me and our bunny is free roam and doesn't pee on the floors at all.
Mine does a thump whenever I let her out of her room to have access to the rest of the home. She thumps and the thumps a second time when she jumps onto the couch
Hi. Can two rabbits share an x-pen if bonded? Is that enough space for them? Thanks.
And they are siblings i got them together same day tak groomed each other and do everything together all of a sudden they dont get along anymore
And they are siblings i got them together same day tak groomed each other and do everything together all of a sudden they dont get along anymore
Mine got each other injured just few seconds i looked away soo bad i dont know what els to do soo scared of what happen nest i give up on bonding for now 😢
Oh yes, many a baseboard and ruined carpets with my experience! But I wouldn't change it for the world 🌍!💕☮️🐇 Thanks for your info. Your vids are full of good advice, ideas 💡😜 and enjoyable 😀
My bunny will throw her litter tray out if it is put over the best bit of carpet to pull up.
Someone told me to put packing tape on everything so they would leave it alone. Well, for some reason my bunnies misunderstood that. If there is tape, it HAS to be chewed on 🫠 it probably works for some bunnies, mine are just wired wrong 🙈
You need to wear long rain boots if the bunny is charging you and dominate them without being a overly scary. It doesn't take much to freak a rabbit out.
Yes but I have done that and covered all my carpet completely and covered it well but she always finds a way to totally DESTROY everything that's covering the carpet to get to underneath and continue ruining the cArpet
Agree that flattened cardboard boxes are essential for rabbit proofing- all of my rabbits through the years love chewing on baseboards.
Cardboard is essential bunny parent tool
Yes as I have learned the hard way, under my chair and behind my desk is no longer carpet….never thought about cardboard, good idea!💡
Save every single cardboard box you get. They will be repurposed/sacrficed at some point
I just rescued a rabbit that was abandoned. I found it by the dumpster. I’m now. Taking care of it. Thank u for this video. According to this info. The rabbit…. Cotton. Is very happy now.
What are the pros and cons for adopting a bunny from an animal shelter?😊

I have been trying to bond my two bunnies they are sisters and spade. They are a year old now and still fight occasionally but get along once in a while. I feel like I need to separate them in different rooms
I’m having hard time new bun can’t really get them bond with my two dogs so he can social he won’t even let me pet or be near this rabbit
Thanks so much
Can you have them side by side in their own pen not free roam . I also need to Bond them to my dog
How do I get on your newsletter or email. I’m a new bunny I have a rescue now social very crabby can’t hold him much
Hello! I am so glad I found your channel. I have had two rabbits before the last one passed away in March and I have missed them so much. They both died as senior citizens. Today I rescued to abuse case bunnies around 10 weeks old. I have never had bunnies before. So I need help with litter box training. Thank you for making these videos. They are so helpful. People really misunderstand them. My two new bunnies are still scared of me but have already started doing binkies and enjoying their new enclosures. They are Holland lops in a dark brown and tan color. So sweet!
I heard the theory that rabbits like to chew cables because they resemble roots growing inside their burrows in the wild. So they want to remove them to keep their tunnels open. I think that makes a lot of sense.
Been a victim of my bunny chewing my cords up one to many times 😅
The spicy hay
Its so good Seeing rabbits content creators uploading consistent But many creators have disappeared from internet
Looking for advice: I tried for months to bond my two rabbits but although they do groom eachother and sleep with eachother, one continues to chase the other during free roam time and is aggressive when it comes to food… sometimes fur is pulled. So I am going to stop bonding them for awhile. One large reason apart from safety is because the submissive one is soooo timid and scared and I feel like it’s partly due her being scared of the dominant rabbit. My question is, is there still hope that my rabbit will become less timid and scared now that she will be apart from the aggressive rabbit? Or will she forever be this way now? She is less than a year old :(
I am trying to locate bedding info for baby rabbits, no fur yet. Not a breeder. I found them in a shallow nest. Seems they would have drown with the rain we've been having.
I use bedding for my bunnies playpen. I don’t mind having to change it and sweeping the messes they make with it.
You just got a new subscriber, and I have 2 rabbits- Oreo and Cookie-and they are just FLIPPING their bowls over, ADORABLE! and thats what I thought when i saw your channel!
Whenever I try to give my rabbit a soft rug or mat to lie on, he always claws at it or bite/ chew it…😢😢😢
How cute are the three little ones at the end of the video... Lovely!! ❤❤❤
My bunny is small
I have one but she just doesn’t need to free roam unless I let her out multiple times to play but she likes being in the cage more
